Scanner Sounds
Alliance Medical | Scanner Sounds: "MRI scanners use large electromagnets some of which are rapidly switched on and off during the scan procedure. Although these magnets are not visible, the sound they make can be fairly loud.
The sounds made by the scanner vary in volume and tone with the type of procedure being performed.
We have collected together a small range of scan noises for you to audition now!
To listen to our scan sound jukebox, click on the buttons below. Each button will play a different MRI scan sound. Press the red button to stop the sounds. (requires Microsoft Internet Explorer)"
